Ben'S Favorite Cornbread(Club Member: Ben Steadman) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Melt butter in cast-iron skillet.
    Mix cornmeal, flour, egg and buttermilk together.
    Add butter, but leave small amount of butter in skillet.
    Pour mixture into heated skillet and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
