Mom'S Plain Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. flour
    6 eggs (room temperature)
    2 c. sugar
    4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating each thoroughly when added.
    Add flavoring and fold into flour. Mix well on slow speed with mixer.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
