Velma'S Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground meat
    2 cans tomato paste
    2 cans water (more if needed)
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 (16 oz.) bag frozen soup vegetables
    seasonings of your choice (salt, pepper, garlic, etc.)
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain.
    Bring tomato paste and water to a boil. Cook onion until tender.
    Add peeled and cubed potatoes.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Add frozen soup mix, seasonings and ground meat.
    Simmer 30 minutes.
    Serve with whole wheat crackers.
