Skillet Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. shredded cabbage
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove from skillet; pour off fat, except for 1 tablespoonful.
    Combine onion, salt, brown sugar and vinegar in tablespoon of drippings left in skillet.
    Toss parsley and cabbage in hot drippings.
    Add crumbled bacon.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Serves 4.
