Jalapeno Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 c. corn meal
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. bacon drippings
    No. 303 can cream-style corn
    2 eggs
    4 to 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar, grated
Preparation
    Cook ground chuck; drain well and set aside.
    Mix next 5 ingredients.
    Grease baking dish.
    Put half the corn bread mixture in pan; add in layers the meat, onion and peppers and cheese. Cover with remainder of corn bread mixture.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
