Rhubarb Cake With Oatmeal Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. oatmeal
    3/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Work all ingredients together like pie crust.
    Line a 13 x 9-inch baking dish with the mixture and reserve 1 cup for topping. Slice rhubarb or apples (1/2-inch pieces) into pan.
