Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Carnation milk
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to directions.
    Bake 1/2 cake mix for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt caramels with milk and margarine; pour over baked cake.
    Sprinkle nuts and chips over mix.
    Top with remaining cake batter.
    Bake for about 25 minutes more, or until top cake batter is done.
