Ingredients

1 beaten egg
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1/3 c. molasses
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
Preparation

Mix ingredients well.
Roll into small balls, then roll in sugar.
Do not flatten.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 to 10 minutes.
