Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer, boiled and taken off meat
    1 1/3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/3 to 1/2 c. sweet milk
Preparation
    Roll out and cut in strips.
    Put in chicken broth. Be sure the chicken broth is at a rolling boil when you put the dumplings in.
