Cheese Broccoli Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 c. chopped fresh broccoli or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 c. long grain rice
2 1/4 c. water
1 (11 oz.) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

In wok, melt butter or margarine over medium-high heat. Add celery
and
green\tpepper.
Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
Add broccoli and
uncooked rice; stir-fry 3 minutes longer.
Stir in
water, soup,
basil
and salt.
Bring to boiling.\tReduce heat;
cover and
simmer
about\t20 minutes or until rice and broccoli are done, stirring often.
Makes 6 servings.
