Heavenly Ambrosia - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large and juicy oranges
4 ripe bananas
1 apple, diced
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, cut in half
1/2 c. flaked coconut
dash of salt
Preparation

Cut orange first.
When peeling oranges, hold over bowl so all juice will remain in bowl.
Be sure to cut sections deep enough to remove all membrane from orange.
Remove sections by cutting along the side of each, dividing membrane from outside to center.
Peel bananas and slice over oranges.
Dice the apple in very small pieces and add to mixture.
Add cherries, coconut and salt.
Toss lightly and garnish with additional coconut and a few chopped pecans.
This is much better if made several hours ahead of time. Yields 8 servings.
