Almond Roca Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 beaten egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat well.
    Stir in flour and spread on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes (light golden brown). Sprinkle chips on hot cookie; let set 1 minute.
    Then spread and frost.
    Sprinkle on nuts.
    Cut in squares while warm and let set up.
    Makes many.
