Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    2 c. applesauce
    2 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. hot water
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 box raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 small jar cherries, chopped
Preparation
    This cake can be baked in a loaf pan, Bundt pan or tube pan at 250\u00b0 for about 90 minutes.
    I bake this in paper cups in my muffin or cupcake pans.
    Makes 36 to 40.
    Bake much less time.
    Don't overbake.
