Thanksgiving Cornbread(Easy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. white flour
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. shortening or butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
Preparation
-
Mix cornmeal, flours, maple syrup, baking powder and salt.
Add shortening, egg and milk.
Pour into buttered loaf pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Serves 8. Easy for children to make.
