Savannah Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 strips bacon
    2 green peppers, chopped
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 pt. stewed tomatoes
    1 c. tomato sauce
    1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 c. shrimp or chicken
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In large skillet fry bacon until crisp.
    Add onions and peppers; fry until brown.
    Add rice, tomatoes and Tabasco.
    Stir. Add meat, salt and pepper.
    Put into greased 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle top with cheese.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
