Vacation Bible School Famous Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large egg, beaten
4 c. sifted flour
1 pkg. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. warm water
pretzel salt
Preparation

In a large bowl dissolve yeast in water.
Add salt and sugar. Blend in the flour.
Knead until well blended, smooth and elastic. Roll the dough flat and cut into strips 1/2-inch wide.
Form the dough into shapes and put on greased baking sheet.
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse pretzel salt.
(Use margarita salt if you can't find pretzel salt.)
Bake for 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
