Italian Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pork chops
    oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 garlic clove
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
    1 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Remove.
    Season with salt and pepper. Saute onion, green pepper and garlic.
    Add meat, tomato sauce, bay leaf and basil.
    Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until tender. Serve over rice and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
