Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. hot water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    3 mashed bananas
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 qt. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
    Let cool.
    Add thawed strawberries, pecans, bananas and pineapple.
    Pour into glass dish 1/2 of mixture.
    Chill until partially set.
    Spread sour cream on top and cover with remainder of Jell-O mixture.
    Chill until firm.
