Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
    1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
    Sift together flour and salt; stir in.
    Mix in nuts.
    Chill dough.
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet (cookies do not spread).
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set but not brown.
    While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Cool. Roll in sugar again.
    Makes about 4 dozen.
