Chicken And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. chicken pieces
    salt and pepper
    2 tsp. margarine
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 can chopped tomatoes
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Brown chicken in margarine in a large skillet.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper; set aside.
    Add onion and garlic to same skillet and saute until lightly browned.
    Return chicken to skillet and add green pepper and tomatoes.
    Pour in water and cover and simmer for 40 minutes or until chicken is tender.
