Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in extracts and vanilla. Gradually stir in flour.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Chill in refrigerator 30 minutes.
Shape into 13-inch roll.
Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight (can be stored 2 days).
Cut into 1/4-inch thick slices. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 8 minutes or to golden brown.
Remove and cool on racks.
Decorate with colored sugar or icing.
Makes 4 dozen.
