True South Garden Squash-Pecan Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. fresh garden squash, cooked
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
bread or cracker crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Mix all ingredients except the bread crumbs and nuts.
Pour into greased casserole and top with nuts and crumbs.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
Really fast preparation time, can be mixed early in morning and kept in refrigerator until ready to cook.
