Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    oil
    1 large or 2 medium onions, chopped fine
    salt and pepper
    2 or 3 cloves garlic
    2 fresh medium tomatoes, chopped fine
    8 to 10 chicken thighs
    1 1/2 c. long grained rice
Preparation
    In a large pot put enough oil to cover the bottom.
    Put in chicken pieces and lightly brown.
    Add garlic, onions, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
    Cook with cover on for 1/2 hour.
    Remove cover and cook until sauce is reduced and thick.
