Mushroom Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef (lean)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper
    garlic powder
    sliced mushrooms (optional)
    chopped onions (optional)
Preparation
    Shape meat into thick patties and season to your taste. Cook in
    skillet
    until
    almost done.
    Remove patties and save half of the
    fat in the skillet.
    Add soup mix and stir in fat until well mixed.
    Add patties and simmer 5 more minutes.
    Mix in sliced mushrooms.
