Pepper Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 small can mushrooms
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onion (can use any onion; or more to taste)
    2 Tbsp. chopped bell pepper or more to taste
    3 c. chicken broth or bouillon
    1 c. rice
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy skillet; add mushrooms, garlic, green pepper, onion and rice.
    Stir over heat until rice turns yellow. Add broth and salt and pepper to taste.
    Place in buttered casserole and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
