Filipino Banana Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 firm bananas
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    4 Tbsp. milk
    1/3 c. water
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Add milk and water, then egg.
    Mix until smooth.
    Peel bananas and cut at a slant.
    Roll bananas in flour and coat in batter.
    Fry in hot oil, turning to brown both sides evenly.
    Drain.
