Ethel'S Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. olive oil
    1 medium onion
    1 green pepper, chopped fine
    garlic powder according to taste
    3 to 4 lb. ground beef
    2 large cans whole tomatoes
    1 large can tomato sauce
    chopped parsley
    4 or 5 basil leaves
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 large pkg. Mozzarella
    2 large pkg. sharp Cheddar
    1 large box noodles
Preparation
    Chop and brown onion and green pepper in olive oil with garlic powder.
    Simmer for 15 minutes.
    Brown and drain 3 to 4 pounds of ground beef.
    Add all remaining ingredients (except cheese), including onion and green pepper.
    Cook until sauce becomes thick. Boil noodles in salted water for 10 minutes.
    Add 2 tablespoons of oil.
    Grease pans and alternate layers of noodles, sauce, then cheese.
    Add more noodles, then sauce; top with cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly and brown.
