Summer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix, baked as usual
    1 can crushed pineapple
    1 large pkg. vanilla pudding
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Punch holes in top of cake with fingers.
    Pour crushed pineapple over cake, juice and all.
    Mix vanilla pudding and let set in fridge.
    Add coconut to pudding; spread mixture over cake.
    Top with layer of Cool Whip and sprinkle with pecan halves.
