Chocolate Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dark chocolate cake mix
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/3 c. milk
    5 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a 13 x 9-inch pan, mixing well. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Combine milk, butter and sugar in saucepan.
    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
    Pour over warm cake.
    Cool for several hours before cutting.
