Green Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large green peppers
    1 1/2 c. cider vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cayenne
    6 oz. liquid pectin
    green food coloring
    paraffin
Preparation
    Seed and chop peppers.
    Put 1/2 of the peppers and 1/2 the vinegar into a blender and puree.
    Repeat with remaining 1/2.
    Put puree into a large pan with cayenne, sugar and salt.
    Stir constantly as you bring it to a full boil.
    Add pectin and boil 1 minute longer.
    Remove from heat and add green coloring to achieve suitable color.
    Pour into sterile jars and seal with paraffin. Makes 2 pints.
