Golden Asparagus Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices white bread, toasted and buttered
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
6 slices sharp cheese
1 lb. fresh or canned asparagus spears, cooked and drained
3 egg yolks
dash of salt
dash of pepper
1 Tbsp. low-fat French dressing
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Place bread on a lightly oiled baking sheet.
Top with tomatoes, cheese and asparagus spears.
Beat egg yolks well, then mix in salt, pepper and dressing.
Fold egg yolk mixture into egg whites.
Spoon egg mixture over asparagus.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until topping is lightly browned.
