Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 bananas
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Mash bananas.
Add shortening, sugar, beaten eggs, salt and flour; mix well.
Mix buttermilk and soda together and add to mixture, then add chopped pecans last.
Bake in buttered and floured loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan or wire rack before cutting.
Wrap tightly.
Will freeze well.
