Fruit And Nut Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. light cream or half and half
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 lb. Brazil nuts, chopped
    1/2 lb. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 lb. pecans, chopped
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple
Preparation
    Cook syrup, sugar and cream to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Beat until it begins to thicken and change color.
    Add vanilla and fruit and all of the chopped nuts.
    Pack in a greased loaf pan.
    Let stand 24 hours.
    Cut into pieces.
