Mock Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. ripe figs, chopped and mashed
2 c. white sugar
1 large or 2 small pkg. strawberry jello

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal. Store in a dark cook place.
