Ingredients

2 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
2 to 3 bananas
Preparation

Whip egg yolks in pan; add milk and put on burner to get warm. Add flour, sugar and dash of salt in separate container.
After mixing, add to milk and egg mixture.
Stir continuously until thick.
Take off burner and add vanilla.
Set pan in cold water. Cool; then layer with vanilla wafers and bananas.
Top with meringue and brown in oven.
