Bob'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. canned milk
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Put sugar, cocoa, milk, water and margarine in 2-quart kettle. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
    Cook to 234\u00b0 to 236\u00b0; remove.
    Add vanilla.
    Set in pan.
    Do not stir until cooled.
    Use cold water to cool rapidly.
    When you can touch bottom of pan with hand, add chopped or whole nuts.
    Beat until it first loses its gloss. Immediately pour onto wax paper and spread ad your pour, or you can pour it in greased pan.
    For higher altitudes, the temperature must be adjusted.
