Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/3 c. cocoa
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. marshmallows
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Cream sugar, cocoa and shortening.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Mix well.
    Add flour, salt and vanilla.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0. When done, spread marshmallows on top.
    Cool and spread frosting over marshmallows.
