Evelyn Chamberlain'S Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
    3 sliced candied pineapple, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
    2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    To well beaten egg whites, add sugar and vanilla.
    Combine rest of ingredients and add to egg mixture.
    Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in slow oven (250\u00b0) for 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly brown.
    Do not overbake.
