Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) box quick rolled oats
    1 (1 lb.) box Ralston wheat cereal
    1 (1 lb.) box dark brown sugar
    1 jar wheat germ
    2 1/2 c. raw sunflower seeds
    2 1/2 c. raw sesame seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 lb. slivered almonds
    1 large pkg. coconut
    2/3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients thoroughly.
    Mix oil, water and flavorings.
    Sprinkle gradually over dry ingredients.
    Mix well. Spread out on 2 large pans and bake in slow (275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0) oven approximately 1 hour or until golden brown.
    Stir often for even browning.
    Store in tight containers.
    Freezes well.
    Yields 6 quarts.
