Slow Poke Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix
    14 oz. bag caramel candy
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions of package.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased & floured 9x13 in. pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
    In a sauce pan, melt caramel with butter & milk. Pour over the baked 1/2 and top with chocolate chips & pecans. Pour balance of cake batter over chocolate chips & pecans.
    Bake until done, approximately 15-20 minutes.
    Cool & serve.
