Cloud Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. butter flavored shortening
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar and shortening until pea-sized crumbs.
    Then mix egg and milk.
    Combine mixtures.
    Knead 3 to 4 times on a floured board.
    Cut with 2 1/2-inch cutter, 1/2 inch thick.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Brush top with butter after baking.
    Makes 2 dozen.
