Pear Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pears
sugar
lemon juice
spices to taste
Preparation

Wash pears and peel.
Cut into squares.
Boil them until they fall apart.
Press through colander to remove seeds and stems. Measure pulp and add 1 cup sugar to each quart of pulp.
Also add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice to give a pleasing flavor (optional). Add spices to suit your taste.
