Salt & coarse ground pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    2 c. chicken broth

Chop oysters into bite size pieces; add liquor and oysters to pot of vegetables and simmer 3 or 4 minutes before adding milk (or half & half) to pot. Mix cornstarch with small amount of water, add to pot, gently cook and stir until chowder thickens. Mix in a few dashes of Tabasco Sauce and serve with the fresh nutmeg on top.
