Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer
    1 Tbsp shortening
    3 c. flour (self-rising)
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    water
Preparation
    In large pan, boil chicken until it comes off bones easily. Remove chicken and cut into chunks.
    Mix flour and shortening. The mix will be very stiff - I mix it with my hands.
    Add more shortening if needed.
    Put the dough between waxed paper and roll out very thin.
    Cut in strips and put small pieces in the boiling chicken broth with enough water added to make two quarts.\tAdd chicken to pot, stir to heat through and serve.
