Apple-Orange Tzimmes * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 apples, peeled and diced
    2 lb. carrots, peeled and diced
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. orange marmalade
    grated peel and juice of 1 orange
    1/3 c. honey
    1/3 c. margarine
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put all the ingredients in a large heavy pot and cover.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer, covered, for one hour.
