Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 pkg. frozen peas, cooked
    1 head lettuce, broken up
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 c. shredded cheese
    8 slices bacon, fried crisp
    pt. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Put a layer of each one of the items and over this a pint of mayonnaise sweetened with sugar.
    Layer all vegetables etc. twice and lastly put rest of the mayonnaise.
    Seal with Saran Wrap and chill at least 8 hours or overnight.
