Dinner In A Bowl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. chuck, cut in 1-inch cubes
    4 medium potatoes, quartered
    4 medium carrots (1-inch pieces)
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 small cans V-8 juice
    1 pod or more red pepper
    1 c. uncooked macaroni
Preparation
    About 1 1/2 hours before serving, in a large vessel, cook beef in salt water until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients, except macaroni; simmer until all is done.
    Add macaroni and cook for about 15 minutes or until tender.
    Serve in bowls with crackers and celery stuffed with pimento cheese.
