1 Pound Rock Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light Karo syrup
    2/3 c. water
Preparation
    In 2-quart pan, stir.
    Stir steady while heating.
    Cook to 310\u00b0.
    Take off heat.
    Gently stir in (1 dram) oil flavoring from drugstore.
    Add regular food coloring of your choice.
    Use cookie sheet or aluminum foil pan.
    Butter lightly.
    Pour on cookie sheet or aluminum foil pan.
    Mark with knife or wait until hard, then break with knife handle.
