Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. diced apples
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. diced celery
    mayonnaise
    few grains salt
Preparation
    Combine salt, celery and nuts; moisten with mayonnaise.
    Mix lightly with 2 forks.
    Serve on crisp lettuce leaves.
    Makes 6 servings.
