Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook broccoli as per package directions.
    Drain.
    Saute onion in butter.
    Add broccoli, milk, water and soup.
    Cook slowly until warm; add cheese and continue cooking until cheese is melted and soup is hot.
    Do not boil.
    Season to taste.
